Come sit with me

The Bench

What I share here reflects my own understanding, experiences, questions, and way of seeing the world. I do not offer these thoughts as absolute truths, but as different lenses through which we might look at ourselves and at life.

Take what speaks to you. Question what does not. Look through the lens for a while and see what you discover. Keep what feels true for you, and leave the rest behind.

My hope is not that you will think as I do, but that something you encounter here may invite you to listen more deeply to what you know.

You know yourself through what you do, through your accomplishments. Underneath all that, who are you really?
We are so conditioned to keep doing, producing and accomplishing that sometimes even resting can make us feel guilty. But coming home to ourselves means caring for mind, body and spirit—and sometimes that begins by simply slowing down and being fully present in the now.
You’ve worked hard. You’ve built a good life. You’ve succeeded. So why is there still that little feeling you can’t quite name? Maybe it isn’t something to fix. Maybe it’s something worth listening to. ❤️
How do you learn to love yourself when you don’t even like yourself very much? For me, it didn’t begin with love. It began with something much smaller—and much more possible: care.
When persistence starts to feel like an obligation, maybe the problem isn’t the work. Maybe we’ve simply lost sight of why we wanted to do it in the first place.
What happens when you stop trying to write something meaningful and simply write whatever comes? For me, a simple morning practice became a doorway into places within myself I never knew were there.
